For Avery

I have made many scrapbook pages for the older 3 but poor little Avery is all digital camera. I have a mission that I will not print out any more pictures in abundance till I have scrapped all my 35MM pics. So, I felt a need to create something for her & this is what I came up with. I hope to do it for all the kiddos one day but at least she has something first.I guess that is the curse of being the 4th kid.

A Great Christmas Gift....

Okay, so many of you know that I am in a crazy quick move to the greatest state in the US, TEXAS, but I was aching to be KRAFTY!!!! So a friend of mine, Taryn & I got together & decided that before I left we wanted to get our Christmas gifts out of the way. We decided that birthday calendars would be a great gift for grandmoms & great grand-moms so we sat down to what we thought was going to take a couple of nights & it turned in a 5 night project. Granted, we did 9 of these babies & we are totally excited about how they came out. To get a better view of the examples, just click on the photo. We used an array of stamps from current to retired. All of the colors used were current colors of Stampin' Up!

Little Somethings of Convention

This was my first year going to Convention with my team. I have an awesome bunch of gals under me & we have a great time when we are together. We did a special 12x12 scrapbook page this year for a make & take. We have had a lot of fun this year. Below are the little somethings that I made for my 3 gals that got to go with me this year. I covered the composition books with Darling Doodles Designer papers & put the Personal Earnings & Title charts on the back flap of the book so my girls can have it at their finger tips.

5 years of Stampin'.....

For all the many things I have been involved in (besides being a wife & a mom), Stampin'Up! has been the longest running. I was able to walk across the stage today at Convention to celebrate 5 years with this fabulous company.

Punchy Punches

These are the samples of what we made at my Punchy Punches Class last night. I wanted to find a way to use some our new punches. I was also able to work in new IN Colors & rhinestone brads. It was alot of fun!

I found this layout on Stampin' Up! stampers showcase. I tweaked the colors & the layout a bit & really like it. I use Purely Pomegranite, Wild Wasabi, & Groovy Guava CS along with good ol' Chocolate Chip CS & ink. The squares are 3/4 in sqaure punched from Linen Prints patterned papers. I also used the sprial punch to make the notebook paper look.

This is a 12x12 scrapbook page using Baroque Motifs, the new scallop punch & rhinestone brads. I used Bashful Blue CS to back the cirlce punches. I gave everyone the option of using Real Red, Tempting Turqoise, Pretty in Pink or Bashful Blue. I love the way it turned out.

This card uses the Linen Prints designer papers along with the small & large oval punches & chocolate taffeta ribbon. I attached the ribbon by cutting a piece that is only larger by an inch on the front (ex: patterned paper is 5 1/4 x 4 so the ribbon is cut at 5in). Then I cut another 2 inch piece of ribbon & ties a half knot to make it appear as if it went all the way around. Great way to save on ribbon!

This was an easy card using a stamp set that comes with the starter kit, Much Appreciated. Using River Rock, Wild Wasabi, & Purely Pomegratnite CS & Purely Pomegranite double stiched ribbon & rhinestone brads, this was a quick & simple card to make. I think I might use this as a swap at convention next week.

Playin' with New Stamps....

Here are a few samples that I made last night while hanging with a friend. Enjoy!

This card uses the new in-colors: River Rock, Blue Bayou, & Purely Pomegranate & the level 2 hostess stamp set, PERFECT PRESENTATION. I also used the River Rock double stitched ribbon. Man, do I love these new colors!!!

This card is made using Old Olive, Purely Pomegranate, River Rock & Very Vanilla CS. I stamped the tree image in black in & used the blender pens to create the water-colored look. The stamp set is BIG CELEBRATIONS & PERFECT PRESENTATION.

Okay, this is just 3 circles punched (1 3/8 in, 1 1/4in, & 1" circle punches) & using the accents from COLD PLAY to finish off the snowman. Happy Holidays is from SNOWFALL used Not Quite Navy, River Rock,Purely Pomegranate & Very Vanilla CS. The corner "bling" is made of the extra left over from the photo corner punch & the 3/4 in square & a jumbo eyelet. I got to use my crop-a-dile for the first time & I absolutely LOVE it!
